Positive affirmations are a powerful way to help both children and adults develop a mind set of positivity and success. In a world of growing pressures and challenges our pupils need support in developing and boosting their well being, self-esteem and confidence and these little reminders are a great way to help them start their day right! This high quality printable can be made in to affirmation bracelets by simply printing off, applying a length of double sided sticky tape down one side and then trimming in to the quote strips! your bracelets can be left on your desk in a jar which pupils can help themselves to or even have them attached to your door (so that pupils can tear them off themselves). This way you can even reach out and share that positive vibe with pupils you may not even teach. Spread the love, spread the creativity.

Launched by the Getty Museum this activity has taken hold of people and encouraged a deeper look in to the construction of a painting. This hight quality, ready to use resource provides clear instruction and examples for your pupils. They are also provided with a core and challenge task that allows for differentiation whether set for a class or as a keystage task. The core task asks pupils to become the painting. A list of paintings and information about the painting and artist is provided allowing for this resource to be used post lockdown as part of an artist history or study task. The challenge task ask pupils to use free stop frame animation software to construct their interpretation of the painting they have chosen coming together. This is a great opportunity to develop new skills and to also have some fun! My example can be seen on my youtube channel at this link: https://youtu.be/Tch5vtxYeN8
